Key Performance Notes

Race 1: The newcomer KAYSON found solid support during the morning and left the stalls in the red at 13/20; raced with blinkers; sat 2nd; led 300m; won with authority; Runner up WHATEVERITTAKES raced at the back 6 lengths behind the winner; running on at finish; beaten 2,6 lengths

Race 2: Form horse PERSPICUOUS took full advantage of apprentice Gumede’s 4kg claim by making all; was always clear and won without any anxious moments by 2,9 lengths

Race 3: Drawn widest, the winner ALFONSE BABY flew out of the pens and after quickly striking the front, settled back in 2nd; hanging in from 300m; led 160m; won well; Fifth placed LADY OF LUTETIA raced joint 2nd last turning for home 8 lengths behind the winner; running on at finish; beaten 3,85 lengths
